HALL, Borealia – His Imperial Majesty the Emperor is currently making his first ever official visit to the colony of Borealia. Emperor Adam travelled from Yorkshire to Devon by train and met General Sir Will McCracken, who gave him a guided tour of the many historical sites of the Mid Devon sector, spanning over a decade of history. They then arrived at Borealia’s capital, Hall, and met Colonel Sir Nathaniel Scarborough. The Emperor will be staying in Borealia overnight, before travelling tomorrow morning to meet Sir Alex Helliker, the Empire’s first ever citizen after the Emperor.
In other news, the Ruling Council met on the 2nd of July and passed the Land Ownership Act 2016. Proposed by the Liberal Party as part of its 2015 manifesto, the Act differentiates between macronational and micronational levels of land ownership within the provinces, and establishes the means by which land can change hands.
Preparations are now well underway for the 2016 elections. The Liberal Party is set to publish a revised manifesto for 2016 soon, and the Labour Party is also expected to publish its first ever manifesto shortly. Candidates for Watertopia and Tytannia have had their nomination forms approved by the Office of State, with others expected to follow soon.
That is all for this week. Seek wisdom and honour, and long live the Empire!
